First, an article called "Cameron Todd Willingham,Texas and the Death Penalty" written by David Grann, published in the New Yorker. It is sort of long, but an incredible about a man who might have been accidentally killed by the state. Family, fire and friendship all show up here. CLICK
Second, a list of death row inmates last meal requests. This is a double whammy (burger [zing!]) for me because I love reading about food. And to see how interesting and unique these meals can be is something else. Also, notice the multide of southern style requests. Makes sense when you look at which states allow the death penalty. CLICK.

And finally, the West Memphis Three. In 1993, three boys were sentenced to either life imprisonment or to die under circumstances that go beyond shady. Two films were made about them, and they are still in jail. Find about what happened to them and maybe you can see that justice isn't always blind. CLICK.
